After a long distance pursuit race during the afternoon, the day was extended by having a curry evening in the Clubhouse. Orders had been
taken during the week & food was ordered from the "Taste of India" takeaway. The food was delivered to the Club and an expectant crowd of
over 30 sat down to eat. The tables had been arranged in a banquet format & what a feast it proved to be.
More members came along later &
joined in. The bar was very busy (well you have to have a drink when eating curry!!). Judging by the attendances of both social & sailing functions,
plus a healthy intake of new members, 2008 looks like being a very good season for the Club.
