Saturday 22nd February 2014 and another social event took place to help pass the time before the sailing season starts at the end of March.
This time it was Ten Pin Bowling. 18 sports minded club members met at Ozzel Bowl in St Austell for a couple of hours of fun and games. 2 Lanes were booked
and teams were selected, ( well actually James Dowrick just entered all the names into the computer to set us up !! ).
Although some might have thought it was going to be just a fun night out, it's surprising how the competitive edge crept into the games !! What was also obvious was that some club members make better sailors and some should quit the sea for bowling, No names ! but they know who they are !!!
