Our social evening this year was centred around a skittles evening and arranged by our Social secretary Tony Dunn. Tony & Colin between them built a skittle alley along the front wall of the Clubhouse. Quite a few teams joined in the intense battle to win a fantastic prize. A prize so good I don’t remember what it was but I am sure it was rather special. After a prolonged battle the top two teams went head to head and the title of top team went to Tony’s team. I’m sure that they had been practising as they were too good for the rest of us. The evening was also supplemented by a jacket potato supper. I was intending to put some background music on but realised that most people just wanted a chat, especially as many of our visitors hadn’t seen each other for several weeks.

As per usual I sneaked around with my camera and took some pictures. I at one time took one of each person bowling, but when I saw the results I decided not to publish them as my camera seemed to catch quite a few people grimacing and not looking their best!!, plus quite a few pictures were out of focus due to movement. Hopefully I managed to get everybody at some time in a more normal setting, though I now realsie that I have missed some people so my apologies for that.
