Fish and Chip Night
February 23th 2019

Tradition dictates that during February we have a Fish & Chip Supper evening at the sailing club. As usual I had been taking orders from folk who wished to partake . Walkers Fish & Chip shop Truro Rd were again the suppliers. I arranged to collect our order at 7.30pm on the Saturday night. Once collected, I got back to the club and with a little help, all the food parcels were handed out to the eagerly awaiting crowd. Tables had been set earlier and everyone was seated. I must say that the Fish & Chips were really tasty and all seemed happy. Once eaten and cleared away it was time for a bit of fun. I had devised a game for those that wanted to try their skill. It involved rolling a ball down a tube and as it came out the end, the idea was to flick it into the air and the ball hopefully would land in a bucket a short distance away. It seemed easy to say but in practice it was far from it. I think it was more luck than judgement if the ball landed anywhere near the bucket. However, it was only meant as a bit of fun so in that respect it went well.

So, all in all another fun night at PSC . I'm sure that the Fish & Chip night will be a permanent fixture on the Porthpean calendar.

Attached are some photo's taken during the evening.
