The Fish & Chip supper has become a firm favourite in the PSC social calendar. This year the 2009 function was hosted by Simon Pryce, ably assisted by Sarah and Roberts. The fish & chips were from Fernley’s chip shop. We were fortunate as the supper coincided with a special price offer where F&C cost only £3.50 a portion, so good value for all. I do know that Fernley had a queue outside the door of potential customers whilst he was cooking and packaging our order.
The meal was followed by a devilish quiz, with a mixture of general knowledge, music and sports questions. The winning team of the Commodore won with a score of 26 out of 40 so there was potential for a much higher score. Maybe a team from University challenge would have returned a higher score, but fortunately they weren’t there. Below are some pictures taken on the night.
