Fitting Out Supper 2005

Kay's penchant for dressing up was once more expressed when the theme for the 2005 Fitting out Supper was deemed to be "Things that go Bump in the Night". Several members turned their hands to making appropriate costumes as can be seen below. The attendance was a little down on last year due to holidays and sickness, but the 40 plus members tucked in to Goolash followed by wicked jelly and ice cream. The weather on the Saturday as the Clubhouse was being readied was a beautiful spring day, with plenty of blue skies with warm sunshine, only a brisk south easterly coming straight off the sea, kept temperatures down somewhat. The forecast for the next day which was to be the first sail of the season promised more of the same.
