Loe Bar Walk Helston 17th April 2006.

11 walkers (it was a bank holiday) met at a car park in Helston and after the usual Easter Greetings set off for a very pleasant Easter walk in spring sunshine. The walk was through light woodland with lovely views along a level track. A picnic lunch was taken on the Loe Bar sand by the sea. James Dowrick insisted on others play, throwing a plastic bottle full of sand, ( he forgot to bring a ball) Surplus energy of the young !!!. Looking at the map it was decided to change the route and walk to Porthleven for an ice cream and sit by the harbour. Afterwards a leisurely walk back to the start point. All enjoyed the day out in perfect walking conditions.
